June 22, 2023 Off By Destination Deep

Divers boarding the Turks & Caicos Aggressor II® scuba yacht are on a quest to capture amazing underwater photos with the help of veteran teachers Mike Mesgleski and Mike Haber. For over 20 years, underwater photography enthusiasts from beginners to experienced have trusted Mike and Mike’s Photography School immersive courses aboard Aggressor Liveaboards® yachts in the world’s most pristine underwater environments.

“We have seen astounding advances in both dive equipment and underwater photography equipment, but, the most impressive and rewarding things we have seen are the photos our students produce during the week-long courses,” says instructor Mike Mesgleski. “We work with anyone wanting to learn more about underwater photography, from first time shooters to experienced veterans.

“From a clownfish in the Red Sea to a seahorse in Roatan, if you have a ‘must-have masterpiece’ in mind, we can help you compose the shot with the proper camera setting and lighting,” says instructor Mike Haber. “Our classes also include post-production and software tips. This year marks our 20th year of teaching underwater photography exclusively with Aggressor Adventures® and 35 years we assisted our mentor, Jim Church, with his classes.

“Taking a course with Mike & Mike is the ONLY way to learn underwater photography. Not only is it educational, but highly entertaining and loads of fun!” exclaims scuba diver Darlene Titus.

Mike and Mike Photography School courses are now available through 2026 aboard the Cayman Aggressor IV®, Raja Ampat Aggressor II®, Turks & Caicos Aggressor II®, Bahamas Aggressor®, BVI Aggressor®, Roatan Aggressor®, and Red Sea Aggressor IV®. Additional dates, course rates and details are available here.

As the Turks & Caicos Aggressor II® casts off from the dock, students gather on the sun deck for the charter’s first class. Mike and Mike begin with introductions and their trademark wit. Laughter fills the air as the sun sets into the Caribbean Sea. It’s going to be a fabulous week!
